Brief history

In 1988, in order to cope with increasingly fierce competition, Mr. Alain Petit, an experienced executive in the manufacturing of control panels for over 30 years, turns to Asia for his electrical components needs at more competitive prices.

Responding to growth in the market, Mr. Petit starts a company specializing in the import of electrical and electronic products.

The company subsequently developed solid business relationships in several countries, particularly in Asia. For instance, since 2001, a member of our team has been representing us and negotiates with manufacturers to ensure optimum supply.

In 2000, Mr. Michel Talbot launches Voltech International. This company manufactures and distributes controllers for electrical motors.

In 2006, Messrs. Petit and Talbot join forces and merge their companies. This new enterprise maintains the name of Voltech International and establishes itself in St-Germain-de-Grantham, located in the heart of the Province of Quebec along route 20.
